Thanks for the replies. I passed on it, a lot of parts was missing on it, some bars had been cut out to make room for a different motor it looked like. More money and work than I wanted to invest.

Thanks. Never heard of one! After looking at more pictures, doesn't look like there is much room for a big engine. I can get a 6.5 hp Briggs cheap, probably room for that, but I wonder how a 6.5 hp would pull a kart that big? Certainly couldn't afford to put it back stock, parts for that rig...

After hours on the Google machine, I still can't ID this frame. I thought it was a Yerf Dog in the ad, the guy says it has no ID tags on it. If I can get it for the right price, I'd like to put a big motor on it. I'd like to ID it to see if I can still find parts for it. TIA.

Okay thanks. I'm about the same size. I could have picked one of these up for a song a few weeks ago, but it was a couple hours away and I didn't have the time to go look at it and then it sold pretty quickly. I thought they looked bigger, I'll grab the next one!

Does that Yerf Dog have decent leg room? I'm pretty cramped on my grandsons Hornet, judging from photos, the Yerfs look to have more room.

I've used Lexan for windows in some drag cars. They use to have a better grade called Marguard. More expensive, but it doesn't weather like regular Lexan. Much better!

The bushing will make it tighter. Is the bushing a slip fit or do you have to drive it on?

No, I could hold it pretty easily. I may run it if I can't slide the engine, I'm going to check on that tomorrow. All it could do is wear the belt quicker right? No damage to the driven clutch?

After you mentioned the bushing I looked and mine is already gone. Anyway I slide the driven pulley out, put the belt around it, and I was able to get the belt around the driver. Started the engine and the kart creeps a little. Don't like it. MFG has a belt 27 23/64" OC. I think that...

Well finally got back to the kart, and the belt only measured 5/8". I was in trucking for 35 years and I never had as many problems getting truck parts as I have trying to get the right belt. The old belt was a 5959. Order one from Amazon. To short. So I start measuring, my old belt...
