I'm thinking about buying a harbor frieght engine, but in curious if ill notice a different in performance between a 13hp stock motor and a motor that has been moddified from the stock 6.5hp to around 13hp. Besides size and weight, which is the better option given they are the same price?

I cleaned the carb completely, but still nothing. Spraying fuel through it make it start to fire, but wont start up. I'm going to give it one last shot and buy a new carb, else this motor is getting forgotten about and I'm going to drill new mounting holes for the more common Honda motor bolt...

If I open the choke and the throttle plate and use a spray bottle to spray fuel into the intake, should the motor at least start for a second or two if the carburetor is the only thing that isn't working properly? Just trying to make sure it is indeed the carburetor that is causing me the issues.

OP, did you use paypal to make your purchase? You can open a claim with them, paypal will take care of you. Whenever a site has an option to use paypal, its a no brain-er for me.
