Hey all,
My kid was complaining that her kart didn't have same top end as normal.
I found this:
Does this necessitate a rebuild or can I take the clutch apart and re-orient the wedge onto the buttons ?
Thanks, Dan
Replaced as per the part numbers from the 3203 pdf: http://www.yerf-dog.com/manuals/3203A_T.pdf
Will post add'l pics tomorrow - also after lowering shock mounts and releasing tension on shocks (they are set at their stiffest setting).
Dan
So.....
Do I just lower the shocks down in the mounts to help level it out ?
or....is this way it's supposed to be ?
Main passenger is gonna be a 60lb kid.
Thanks, Dan
Yep - thanks.
That's kind of what I was trying to say in my previous post.
Now to figure out how to get that locating pin out of my bearings....
:surrender:
Problem is the nub interferes with the stock flange mating up to the outside of the bearing.
Would you/I assume that the extra "tab" on the new swingarm is for the other end of the brake band ?
Thanks !
Ordered new brakes and bearings from BMI last week.
I used the actual part numbers from the Yerf Dog part number list: http://www.yerf-dog.com/manuals/3203A_T.pdf
The new bearings I got have a "nub" on them....
Not sure if I should just sand/file it down or what.....the stock bearings...
I think I saw the proper size tires at TSC the other day. Didn't notice if the had rims etc.
If I decide to just get tires - have you ever dismounted/mounted your own ?
Level of difficulty ?
My local tractor shop charges 12$ a tire for dismounts and mounts.....
Dan
I did see that write when I was searching.
Nice job.
I went ahead and ordered a new drum and band from BMI. I'll see how it works out for now - before I get into any heavy fabrication.
Thanks !
