Thanks for replies... I [I]was[I] only being sarcastic - fact is he's a great friend. I ended up getting a Techumsah for 200.00 with all necessary hardware, etc, for a fast hookup. I'm sure the Honda would have been a 'better' engine but all in all I'm sure this will suffice. I'm pretty sure...

Great - this is the feedback I thought I'd get... so... this engine at HF http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=66015 is the ticket I presume... shaft diameter etc., looks correct, is the shaft tapped to receive the bolt that holds the centrifugal clutch in place...

My neighbor (I'll deal with him later..) gave my 12-year old a go cart. Nice, thanks very much. Briggs and Stratton 135212 5HP with a completely rusted out gas tank, pulsa-jet carb that looks like a YAK threw up in it, etc. So... standard hole pattern I guess, 3/4 keyed shaft, etc. Trying to...
