I have diligently searched this forum for the answer before posting, all of those links are regarding a remote throttle hookup. I am asking how the engine throttle controls the butterfly valve. I only see it as connected to a 'control arm' via a spring (as in the picture).

I just wanted to be clear; everybody here is like me and doesnt know how their throttle works?

Sorry to be that guy that only puts a post to ask for help, but I have tried to fix this issue for too long without assistance. Two pictures are of my off-road kart for amusement and critique. The question is in regards to the throttle picture. The engine is a Honda clone (Champion 6.5 HP)...
