Nice! I didn’t catch the resemblance to the Toyota front end. And I didn’t know that Willly wasn’t the designer of the jeep either! My mini jeep will be a hybrid I guess, because I ordered a Willys style grill to go with my Toyota style hood.

This cart was very cheap ($2000 new). Any fancy stuff would drive the price higher. I am adding badges and markings to mimic WWII Willy's Jeep. (My wife's cricut vinyl machine is perfect for this!

After owning this one for a week…. It’s great fun but it’s definitely a cart. No differential means it’s hard to turn. It vibrates like mad at various rpms as all the plastic parts hit resonant frequency. I like the electric starter, Lights, horn etc.

I haven’t finished break-in so I won’t know about max speed. It’s intended for my grandkids to learn how to shift and drive, so I’m not too concerned about some minor power loss.

I have a new mini jeep with GY6 clone. I added a very small “diesel heater” muffler to reduce the obnoxious exhaust note. It’s done a great job with the noise. I added it downstream of the original muffler. Am I reducing the power significantly with this muffler?
