    Ok, I got a torque converter for the kart. I need to clean the driven on the jack shaft. (I think I'm using the right terms) What's the best way to clean it? If I remove it, it would be easy but I didn't want to do that without knowing for sure how to put it back and get the spring right.

    I didn't know they sold carbs either. I'll look into that. I got a torque converter last week. I may start on this project this week. Thanks for the info. I'll keep this updated as I go along.

    Idle fluctuates...Im also not sure if the linkage is connected properly. The one that connects to the card is a bent piece of copper wire. Is there a diagram or something for these engines??
