    See attachments ....See figure 9 Should the "Tension Spring" behind the Linkage be appling force? it is not in fact it and its tab are are loose on the shaft. Should I try and "wind" it counterclockwise one turn and try to reattach it?

    Tecumseh HM80 Will Not Drop down to Idle

    I have a Go-Kart with a Tecumseh HM80 Engine. The Motor start fine but the engine revs to high and with not drop down to idle. If I manually move and hold the linkage it will run in idle but as soon as I let go of the linkage it revs back up. Don't know if a spring should be pulling the linkage...
