How hard would it be to convert a standard centrifugal clutch to a manual clutch? I'd love to have one without having to fork out the $150+ for a 3d. Im not running anywhere near enough power to need something like that. I kind of understand the concept, just wandering if it can be done cheaply...

I've seen those little baffles that hotroders use for zoomie pipes on show cars. Very easy to stick in the pipe, and remove later. Not sure if you could find one that fits your pipe though

It isn't modified atm. Just looking at what carb to get with my other parts, as now I have a stock carb with a small jet. Was gonna get a flat top hemi piston, cam(BMjr), valve springs, con rod, and do some port work on my current head. Looks like they have a 30mm opton aswell

Buy a 212 preddy and go to town. Cheap, reliable, decent stock power.

Pops and crackles out of the pipe? If it doesn't have baffles than that's normal. Unburned gas. Doubt adjusting the idler would have changed anything either.

How thin of a gasket would you recommend for a stock piston? And what size con rod would you recommend? Would it be the same size for a hemi flat top? Thanks

I've got a non hemi 212 preddy (filter, jet, header), and I'm gonna get a billet con rod to pair with the cam/ springs I'm gonna order. What is stock length for a non hemi? Do I need anything else for the cam swap? (Don't say flywheel, lol)
