Building an electric go kart question.

Well, watts are the product of voltage and amperage. Watts= power volts= density amps= speed Basically, batteries are valued in Ah or mAh, which is the (mili) amp hours, or how many hours it can provide an amp of current. ex- 3Ah battery can run a 1A motor for 3 hours straight, or a 3A...

how to replace cylinder on Isuzu G200 engine

Not worth it with a cracked block. A good practice car for this type of stuff is a Ford Aspire/ Festiva. They can be had running for as little as $150-300, and are some of the simplest cars you will ever work on. Plus, any Mazda B-block (4i) or K-block (V6) engine can go into them.

    High School Kart Project- Suggestions?

Pull the governor on those predators. I have one and they seem so limited with it on. That said, $250 in parts for a new flywheel, rod, wrist pin, and piston are in order afterwards, but it sure would be worth the (taxpayer's) money.

I know, haha. And I was planning about 3-4" of ground clearance with 10" wheels, with a simple L-stock/ square stock frame, no suspension, and a solid live axle with a 40-60 tooth sprocket. I'm going to try and take a chair from school this Monday for the seat.

I think I will enter the contest. Why not? I figure I have one main advantage at this point... He has started gathering parts, and is using some heavy stuff simply because his dad had it lying around. (Some thicker steel, and a Chevy Express R&P) Their driver is like half my weight, but I...
