this was very informative but in order to test i would have to have a cdi hooked up, the motor i have has no cdi and no coil

so i bought my first kart today. it has a kasea 150cc (gy6?) motor with the cvt tranny. the kart is pretty much all there except for shocks on the rear and i think it will need a new master cylinder for the brakes. the motor is all together but it doesn't have a coil, cdi (if it even needs one)...
