I got the motor running it sounds nice and healthy. I have also got a front end, i don't have any pics at the moment because it is off getting sand blasted (it had a bit of surface rust) the front end should be 3 or 4 days so ill get pics then. I got my RHS tyre fixed up it had a puncture so i got the guy to flip it around when it was getting repaired. I also made a battery box, and then i found out that my battery was ****ed so now i have to get a new one.

I think your karts cool man, kinda looks like a dragster

Your battery may truly be bad, but something most guys don't realise is some battery chargers wont energise and start charging good batteries that are completely discharged to 0 volts.

If this is the case with yours, you could try hooking your charger all up like normal, then also hook up some jumper cables to a good battery for just the first half hour or so to get the charger going.

:censored::censored::censored: I snapped my vice in half :mad2: do you guys know if it is possible to weld cast iron?

Anyway those tyres are from a motorbike and they make for a really soft ride because they run at low pressure (3psi)

I'm am yet to built a heat shield that will stop my *** from being toasted, but i definitely will thanks for the idea.

I will have to try that with my battery i hope it works or it will cost me more of my precious $$$

I am trying to keep this build cost as low as possible here's what i have spent so far

Motorbike FREE
steel FREE
Air filter $30
Grinder blades etc $60
tyre repair $15

This looks like it's guna be awesome. What are those back wheels from? I want some like that for a new project.

i'd look at a four wheeler place, they look like a smaller version (shorter) of what i have on my fourtrax, so you should be able to find some there

You broke your vise? How?
Just riding ya. I had a buddy at work do that a couple years ago. I welded it back together using FCAW (Flux-core MIG). It was a pain in the arse, but it's still holding. Looks like Frankenstein!
