hey kazkepox, its gonna be a street bike, crotchrocket and a rocket it should be lol if i stik a 250 in it it will have about 45-50hp and way about 100kg with rider if that. so power to waight is realy good.

45-50hp sounds like way too much to me for only a 250.

Any modern performance liquid cooled 250 2 stroke moto-cross engine will put out AT LEAST 40hp stock, My 1983 RM125 was rated 30hp stock. with a 250, 50hp is not far off with some modifications.

one of the first rm250's came stock with 55hp. i think it was a 66 or a 76.

Mike, you may be thinking of the early Rm370 or RM400. They started making RM's in 75', and the first few 250s were only rated at 35hp stock, when they started using L/C engines in 81' or 82' the HP hopped up to around 40. 55hp from a stock air cooled 250 2 stroke would be ALOT.

yer im in the moto world ive been riding since i could walk and im sure the moden 250 2 strokes make 50 and above hp. one of my mates has an 02 rm250 and its a rocket ship nealy as fast as my husky te510.

Run a CVT on the pb engine, if you're planning on using it. A CVT will give you plenty of torque to move that big rear wheel.

ha lol yer, my dad use to race formula 500 on dirt speedway tracks and he use to run a r6 engine on methanol and like every part inside replaced and it was awesome some of you guys from aus might of see the car be for since we use to go all over the country racing lol heres a pic of it.
p.s. thats the same car but that one was our team mates one. dads car was number 600
