I thought, "karts, oh cool" but these are trikes or maybe even "carts" with a c as the label on the fork tells us they are. Question: would these be better or worse with four wheels instead of three? Seems the trike configuration is ideal for overtaking as it is easier to get the front wheel, and the triangular footprint, past one or more trikes and you only have to "leapfrog" the rear tires around an adjacent trike's rear tires and you're 'home free'.

Watch it til the end. 🤪

At the beginning, you're thinking oh dear these guys are crazy because there's a sharp drop off to the left. It looks like they're riding the edge of a stupid-high cliff...one false move and it's over.... but as soon as they take the coming hairpin turn, and there's many such turns, they are back on a parallel course just a dozen (50, 70?) or more feet lower than the track they were just on. So not so perilous perhaps? Mere injury but not death if you go over the edge? Wonder if they have to sign a waiver to ride...

😬 🐄🐄🐄🚴‍♂️

I would classify those things as "Drunkmobiles" and I might try it alone, but a herd of suicidal thrill seekers on open wheeled trikes between a rock cliff and a sheer drop does not sound like a good life choice to me.
My guesstimate would be about 40MPH.

I did not look at or follow the track closely but later on, maybe in the middle of the video, you can see some kind of wooden barriers on one of the slopes. all along the way. Maybe there's guardrails, barriers, nets to prevent multiple Darwin Awards? [EDIT]: I guess that's what they are, nice soft wooden 'fences' It's all safe, boys!

I am sure we all know what happens when two wheels, spinning at speed, touch each other. One goes up and the other one skids momentarily.
Those folks intermingling their rear wheels in the turns and on those hills...YIKES!
Scrub the other guy's tire and somebody loses control.
@Hellion : The trike MIGHT be more stable than a "Kart" in this situation.

Those Mt trikes couldn't be any more dangerous than rototiller drag races.
This one is 129kph or 80mph in freedom units.

Wait this has wheels.
Wait till you see the tines on the dirt racers. That might be more dangerous.

Awesome! Anything for a adrenaline rush. The weirder the racing, the more I love it! :ROFLMAO: Not saying I would do it, but sure is fun to watch. If the internet like it is today was available when I was younger, I would be racing weed whacker motors mounted to roller skates with a rototiller in front and a kerosene jet in the back! Glad I am to old. :ROFLMAO:

You can start with the herd but let them get ahead and go at your own pace? I'd be bored being the only one there and would love to watch the thrill seekers have a mishap or take the turn way up ahead in a bad way so I know how not to do it, et cetera.

I think I need a demonstration good sir. 😁
