I have a complicated setup here…. Lol
18hp vtwin to 40 series cvt with a 50 on the driven and 12 on an FNR that is 21.6-1 from a lawn tractor (which is already difficult to figure out enough) lol
with this all calculated says I have 5.18-1 and I’m on roughly 18” tire diameter so it says I should get about 37. Problem is the driven pulley on the Cvt will not shift under load but will when it’s on jacks. What’s the best way to fix this?
Forgot to mention I’m getting 10mph and the motor is ungoverned

Update: I switched the 50 tooth a 40 too raise the ratio or however you say it lol too see if it would turn easier and maybe open up, I couldn’t see the Cvt but I’m prettt sure it didn’t because it dropped from 10mph too 7 so I’m guessing not the answer lol. The only other thing I can think of is putting the 50 back on and adjusting the spring in the Cvt

It’s a lawn tractor fnr trans axel, 21.6-1 lol
I have a similar trans driven mower. Since there is such a drastic reduction, we used something like a 12" pulley driving a 4" pulley on the trans which is about 20:1.

Probably going to have to go through some trial and error because I bet there is also a CVT mechanism on top of that transmission?

Cvt from motor to jack shaft with a 50 tooth a 12 tooth on the trans axel which is just a single speed standard fnr trans axle out of a mower
