just wanted to say hi. my name is tom..
i have a yamaha kt100 superdyne racing bluenprinted race engine , currently it not in working mode but it will soon
the culprit and reasons why my kart is down is that i overheated my horstman triple disc dry clutch, but now i got the clutch rebuilt ,and this is where the problem started.

how do i install the clutch..is there a diy tutorial somewhere on how to install the clutch.. i dont feel comfortable doing it my self without a tutorial...

it need a new clutch install
need new spark plug
need new starter nuts
need to bleed the brake.

I don't know Horstman from Shinola, but I'm going to go with, place clutch on output shaft, replace nut, tighten.

Or the old standby--install in the reverse order of disassembly. ;)

Oh, and one more thing:

Looks like Horstmen HDC-5CP triple disc dry clutch info recommends tightening the nut to 350 inch pounds. (that converts to 29 foot pounds if you don't have an inch pound torque wrench)

rail.... yes..it a 9/16 tapered ..i inspected the kart closely and my clutch and it does have a little half moon on the shalf... and my clutch also have a groove for the wood ruff keys ... so i ordered just the wood ruff keys to amke sure i did it right ...

@anderkart... yes it is a horstman dry clutch HDC 5CP triple disc clutch....that awesome that u know what my clutch is... i love that clutch... it grab so awesome... i however overheated my clutch as i keep braking and not enought full WOT to cool it down.... secondly .... and yes i dont have an inch pound wrench... so i just do it to 29 then... or 30 to be safe... now... do i tighten the clutch with the nut and then lapping it.. or do i just leave the clutch out.. but ima use the keys just to be safe... ..

will pick up spark plug tonight..and insert that...
will take the tank out and clean it with new gas...
will be lapping the compound in the shalf tonight
and then wait for the wood ruff keys to be here and then install the clutch...

RIGHHHHT....You just get banned for using non-censored words! (...or at least shouldn't be censored words.)

I got banned for a month for a thread I started showing common acceptable words only become cuss words when used in a different context.

Add the brake fluid into your master cylinder it's the little boxy thing that is connected to your peddle or a rod coming off the peddle. Careful with those screws they like to strip out.
