Your sprocket looks so small. Maybe the tires are that BIG?
You might end up wanting a bigger one (or smaller on TC). 22" tires are big even with a TC.
Guess it depends on where you will be riding.

What size chain?
If #41, #40, or #420 they make as low as 8T for the TAV2.

Bob...im thinking the same thing...
Getting a tav 2 with 10 tooth and 1/2" chain...Parts this side of the world bit hard to come by... This should be more of a utility vehicle than a burner, so im thinking more in the region of 68ish rear sprocket.... All depending on availability... And machining.....

I thought it was the 1/2" chain, hence the 10T sprocket. Bigger than 60T gets more expensive, at least around here.


If you end up wanting more bottom end...
You could also add a jackshaft, in addition to the TC... if there is room and locating a bigger sprocket becomes an issue.

Finally found the handlebars I've been looking for!!!
Remember the show CHiPS??? ...with Ponsh and John?? (showing my age here)
The classic kawasaki kz1000 police bike handlebars..... Just tweaked slightly....
There is this sketchy bike collector in Johannesburg that has piles of crap who's shop Ive been avoiding, but as a last resort stopped and poked my nose around.... Amongst the most amazing classic 70' and 80' bikes, are piles of parts collectors will kill for.
Kawasaki kz1000 police handlebars....and not just one but a pile of them!
R120.00 including break leaver with servo.....( roughly equates to $10 US)

I rode an 81 KZ1000 all over the place for a few years, wonderful, wonderful machines.

My current bike is an 81 KZ750 chopper. I've been in most of the lower 48 on it. I tell people you can count on that bike like you can count on the sun and the moon.

The "minibike" is turning out great, I really like the way you built it.
