star wars 2nd grade parade float

Just as the title states. I was tapped to build the classroom float for the parade. Im not one to half way do something. I mean there was a trophy at stake.
let the build begin.
rules:
Must be a golf cart.

Needless to say we won first prize. And I have been ask to do next years too.

and they all could be a tad bigger in diameter
(wrap them in low density foam for example)

I installed a 1500 watt sound system playing the star wars theme to seal the deal.
it was a great project.

Its pretty amazing what you can build with some conduit, refrigerator boxes and zip ties.
had to trailer it to the parade route. Stayed together doing 60mph.
just thought I would share.
