I am stumped on what brand or name that mount is (the one with the sprocket attached) there is no name on it just numbers like a bar code .What ever Brand it is the thing weighs at least 10 pounds and has its own sealed bearings .
Does anyone wanna see a video she is ALIVE . there was a smidge of old gas in the tan so i drained out what i could added new oil and a new batch of 91 to the old gas to cancel the effects out (Old gases loses the ability to become flammable )So ad gas that is more flammable and easy to ignite with old gas it makes it run lol (in my eyes i started her up she purrs)
Can anyone tell me how to ride a go kart with a wet clutch ? i have heard bully clutched and wet clutches are not the same as a normal cc

Well....it's not exactly set in stone....but if you are talking about consecutive. posts in the same thread....I doubt the mods would say anything about that....but it's a judgment call.....although they may not say anything....they still don't like a string of short posts.....even if there's a good bit of time inbetween.....because you could just as easily. have added to the other one with the edit button.....

On the other hand....again....I'm not a moderator....but personally....it doesn't bother me to see back to back posts in a fairly short amount of time if they are lengthy and especially if they also change direction.... but that's just my opinion....it's up to the mods to judge.......

Usually.....just previewing your posts can help guide you in the right direction....and let you catch more mistakes more easily.....eliminating having to go back and edit.....but also....if it's hard to read....it's probably wrong....

Sent a email to someone at the company of margay Bonnie Atkinson this is what she said.
Serial # SR949 is a 1984 Margay - model is SR16. Your frame is the 2-cycle version. We also made an SR16 frame for 4-cycles.

SR16 was built 2 years - 1983 & 1984

I have the original brochure I will email it to you.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
Bonnie

original color yes...
re powder coating yes,

BUT ask the company that does that to take pictures after blasting, before coating.
that way you can document the karts current condition. (cracks, bends etc.)

The new owner will like a good documentation, that no crack is hidden under the fresh coat and that everything's as it's supposed to be.

Done right, this will earn you a good amount of money

PS in case you wonder.. Cam explained the misunderstanding.. we're good ;)

Just as a side note... 91 octane is not more "flammable" than a lower octane gasoline. That's not what octane ratings indicate.

Yes!!!!....You are correct!!!! It burns slower....allowing more pressure to accumulate in the power cycle.....

My favorite anology: Take a spoonful of black powder...and a spoonful of smokeless powder and put each on a plate....the black powder will go POOF!!!!.....and blind you and be gone before you can close your eyes....the smokeless powder will burn with a slow fizzle....but put the same size charge as normal for black powder of smokeless in a black powder gun....and the barrel will explode....every time!!!!

Ok i have heard many things about people saying higher octane better hotter flame ?
What ever the case it worked :)
http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sh...-112-octane-fuel-less-flamable-than-93-octane
They where wrong hmm well from what i read it is very good for high compression engines like my kt100 with 160 psi

Well...like I said in my other post.....it burns slower....that's in your link as well....so is some misinformation....."it's only purpose is to prevent detonation....it doesn't make more power...." NO!!!!! EL WRONGO!!!!!

So....let's try and explore why it burns slower, makes more power and is good for high compression engines.....

First off....let's look at boring vs. stroking in engines and their effects....a healthy bore will add way less volume to the combustion stroke than a modest lengthening of said stroke.....I don't want to get into trying to explain why here and now.....but suffice to say....stroking adds more volume than boring....(do the math).....

OK.....So...basically...that's what higher octane fuels do....increase stroke....and....we kinda touched on this before....when discussing timing and BTDC..... so to combat preignition....you retard the timing....(you make it fire later....closer to the top of the stroke) ....and we do that so a violent explosion doesn't try to stop the piston in it's tracks on it's way up!!!! That's. what the "pinging" noise is....the clearances in the wrist pin and connecting rod/crank being taken up.....

Sooooo.....If we can keep that from happening.....yet light the charge sooner....it effectively increases the stroke...(the amount of up and down the piston travels) ....without doing it mechanically.....think of it this way: a set length. bus trip.....the bus is going to go the same distance....but if you get on an earlier stop....youre going to take a longer trip than someone that gets on later.....

So....that should help explain the dynamics of why a slower ....(harder to ignite) charge builds more horsepower....

now....for higher compression....I don't even want to really go into much here....but suffice to say....like the gunpowder analogy....take a bowl of gas....and a bowl of diesel...and put a match to each....then look at common diesel compression ratios compared to gas engines.....

That ought to do it....
