Summers on Long Island are the best...I think that's why many Hollywood types spend much of their time here, especially on the east end.
Winters, however, can really suck.
I miss the times I spent Blue and Bass fishing in the middle of long Island Sound.

Very jealous were suppose to get 3-6in tonight and another 3-6in tommorow. the kids are camped out by the front door waiting for parts. an there not coming till tuesday l
wish my garage was heated so we could start the rebuild.

+14*c(I don't know off hand what's that in F) here today. Had to dress down and lug my big jacket while on the bus back from work.
It has been 37degC here for a week running with 90% humudity. It is like breathing in water

Well, storm was no where as bad as predicted.
Roughly about a foot at my pad. Far from 30+ inches.
Manhattan (~40 miles from me) only got 7.5".
No biggie.

I wish it was only "working outside", my East Coast colleagues are all taking the day off, super increased workload ahead for us in AZ, then again, that's really the only reason we have our jobs....
