It should work.....
I have a 60 tooth at home that fits that drum. It's in good shape, I only changed it cause I went to a 54. I'll check it tonight to be certain. If you want it, pay the shipping AND buy some stickers from DIYGK, and it's yours.....welcome2: Robert.... LoL )
You do know that changing from 80 to 60 DRASTICALLY changes your drive ratio, right?
EDIT
Buy something from DIYGK and ill pay shipping on sprocket.....
I was talking to my buddy who works on engines very often and he checked it out and believed my camshaft likely went completely bald and may need replacing. He said this was caused by dirty oil. He also said some part on the OHV will need to be machined somewhere (the top left piece in all my pics)
If both rockers were moving, the cam is not bald. It may be worn, but if they were both moving the same, it probably isn't.
Well, you didn't hinder, Cam but, I think credit for this one goes to ML-TOYS & XYK... only because I didn't see it first
Acid, as I said earlier, time to get your hands dirty; personally, I wouldn't be using that valve again, it's probably bent now; start searching for a new valve & retainer... & find a good engine shop, you may need some work on the head...
Isn't that the exhaust valve?
They were moving very minimally. He said the cam has very little life left. Not sure what he ment but he said my oil was the problem as it was pretty dirty
The Tecumseh Powersport engines do have a plastic cam, so it could be gone. You can get a steel cam for it.
You could always get a Predator and send me that Tecumseh!![]()
Ha ha ha ha.... Now I don't remember..... I think it has 8 holes. 4 of one pattern, 4 of another. I had to open the holes on my new sprocket to match the bolt spacing perfectly. I'll post pics of it tonight,as soon as I get home....![]()
Just out of curiosity, what's a tecumseh worth in working order? Might try to sell it to fund some other parts!
