I like this built. I'm looking at from the beginning. Soon I will put pictures of my Jeep with a peerless three speed & reverse transmission upgrade.

I've always had a love of Jeeps. You and Bando have a couple of beautiful builds going on there. I do wish I had your (both of you) talent for bodywork!

thanks guys. nice choice on the transmission Bando I have the same one in my jeep gokart . I think thats just about the best peerless tranny there is. I think they are model 350 or 400? I blew out the reverse in a smaller 3 speed i had and the 5 speeds just arnt that beefy either though i havnt busted one yet on my other machines so i guess theyre not bad. these are old pics you can see the old 3 speed in there

At first I thought building a willys, but did not find one to take measures and decided to build a CJ.

How long is your Army Jeep?

which one? lol I do have a cj-2a to get the measurements but there are plenty of places online that you can get measurements of the flatfenders. i also have a cj5 that i could have copied but i wanted to go full military on this one. plus i was never happy with the gokart one the proportions are all out of whack and its built really crappy. i basicly threw it together in a few days. its good fun though

The body is around 19" wide and 38" long plus the bumpers. Whenever i neaded a measurment i just took it off my 2A and got it as close to 1/3 as i could .
I got the axe and shovel made . Chop!Chop!Chop! :) just gotta make the mounts and stuff. also nearly done with my Ramrod so thats good!

everything is pretty much done and the frame is painted and back together. Still need to fix up and paint the body . I just made this mini 12" carbine yesterday and the ramrod is done. Things are going great :) I could sell these like hot cakes if I felt like it

Took it for its first ride today. I have a bit of a problem with fuel delivery. Too much fuel I need a return line apparantly. But works great otherwise. Click the video >

Wow. Thats pretty awesome.

What do you think of the 30cal carbine round? Ive though about building a bolt acting that fires it... maybe not the most practical. Would make a fun little rifle I think.
Note: Still doin my homework, wont be some ugly $24.56 hardware store jobby
