Probably couldn't go wrong with either one. I've used Miller in school and they really weld good, even though we have tons of kids messing with them.

The Sears machine seems like better value 'coz you get a trolley & a helmet but the Lincoln the better machine.

If you want the fancy extras, go the Sears. If you want a machine that'll outlast you go the Lincoln

Depends on where ARCA race schedule is
ive used lincoln and miller migs and a lincoln tig. the lincoln tig was crap. The duty cycle sucked and i about melted the torch (air cooled). The lincoln mig was ok but I have always liked Miller better personally. If I were you, I would go ahead and shell out the extra cash for a welder that will weld with gas as well as flux. argon or helium shielded welds are so much easier and nicer.

Now that's cool. A 2-seat welding Cart. You and your helper hop in, drive out to the project. You spend an hour or so welding, and the rest of the afternoon doing donuts and slinging sod. LOL

Nice Christmas gift!!!
75%Ar 25%C02 mix. Buy or rent really depends on you. If you rent, you never have to worry about your cylinder going out of date and having to be requalified (like a BBQ tank).

Please correct me if am wrong. So let's say I buy a argon cylinder from harbor freight. Can I take it to a local gas place and they will fill it with 75/25 or do I need different cylinder. Second question do they fill the one you take or they just replace it with one of there's. Thanks
