Default 16 HP engine

Hey, im building that personal tracked vehicle that everyone has seen on youtube:


Well im gonna use something around 16 hp. If u guys could help me find an engine for some where between 300-400 i would appreciate it.

here in canada you can get a 13hp electric start for 299.99! i run one on my go kart and it works great!

try craigslist, scrapyards, mom and pop lawnmower shops. a friend of mine got a john deere opposed twin for $25.

Where are u located? I have a nice 16hp briggs opposed twin, horizontal shaft that i'd let go for $200, runs great. Or a vert 18 horse that runs but could use a little carb work for $125. Both electric start with charging coils, downdraft single carb.

if i were looking to get one, i would get the electric start for $50 more.

look up on google Powerland 16hp engine $350 i have one and it hauls like crazy
