Well the title says most of what i need. I bought a predator engine from harbor frieght and im putting it on my go kart. Im trying to reach 55-70mph. I already removed the governor and i already know i needa billet type flywheel for high rpms. PLEASEE, ANY MODS AND PARTS I CAN BUY TO GET ME TO MY MPH GOAL,PLEASE LET ME KNOW. thanks alot. I havr not started the engine yet, its brand new with no gas or oil applyed yet.

70mph, are you nuts? In a kart, that's gonna feel like about 200!
You're also going to need a stronger conrod & valve springs. I would also suggest you get a CVT if you want any chance of reaching that kind of speed

Ive seen modded versions of tht engine and they were pretty quick. I wasnt really trying to buy a CVT though

a cvt would get shred up going that fast with high RPM (at least a comet 30 series would)
it would take a lot of engine mods, expensive clutch, and going that fast you would want high performance steering setups, a strong frame because your life depends on it, balanced slick tires, heavy duty brakes, etc. i would return the predator and look into 125cc race karts if i was you |

Keep in mind if you want to get that speed, aside from all the engine things you will need 2 things: 1) A suitable frame to handle the speed and power 2) A place to ride it.
