Default briggs 900 series

So I have a question for anyone out there that can help. I have a Briggs 900 series motor, which I want to get a little bit more horsepower out of. I am new to karting and any insight would really be appreciated. Not for actual racing, just father son project. Is there anyone that has used or built one that could help? Thanks

I did a little research and learned most all of the speed parts from the Briggs Animal (or World Formula or Local 206) racing engines will fit your 900 series.

Lots of cool parts available here: http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...s+Animal+parts

First, how familiar are you with engines? I can go into alot of detail on what you can do to an Intek 206cc to get power but all of it requires work that you need to know what is going on with motors to understand.
