Default free 110cc atv

A guy came up to me at the gas station yesterday and asked if I wanted a little 4wheeler. I had my truck and trailer loaded with metal from the mobile home park I'm demolishing so I guess thats why he asked . I followed a few blocks to his house. The atv had been sitting for 2 years . His son had out grown it. He didn't know where the key was so it needs a new switch. The master cylinder for the rear brakes was no good. And it needs a battery . So I didn't know if it will run yet. I don't want to spend money on parts til I know the engine works . I have a lawnmower battery I think I'll test it with. If it doesn't work I have a honda I can put on it. The plastics are all undamaged I just unbolted them and the side vents.

You sure it's a 110? That looks like my $20 quad. It has no markings at all of cc or cm3. I thought it was a 50.

Yeah, that's believeable. My buddy just bought a little 110cc chinese quad to give to his niece for Christmas, it's a wee little thing, too.

Personally, I think he's insane spending over $500CDN on it, I think he could've gotten a nice, used something that doesn't come from the factory with birdst welding on it for that price.

That being said, free is always a good deal. Nice!

Good score!

I'll bet that with a good carb cleaning it'll start right up and run just fine. And you can probably pick up a new master cylinder off evilbay for just a couple of bucks (like most any other part as well).

Considering that it's built for little kids?

I'm 6'1" and 245 so I'll not be riding it. Probably gonna sell it for few hundred if if runs without a big investment. If its shot I think I'll make a mini drag quad with a 125cc -250cc 2 stroke and some major fab work. Then again I might just strip it for parts to use on something else. We shall see.

On another note. My brother just drop this off.

And ,YES, those are tiller tires. Looks like a 3.5 hp engine. It was dark when he brought it so I haven't had a good look at it yet. Things it needs : throttle cable. clutch , pull cord handle . and probably a new carb if my brother messed with it. And some minor fiderglass work. I love free stuff.

Probably not gonna use those tires on the trike. I don't really have any idea what I'll do. Gotta have a better look tomorrow. I do know the front fork needs a radius stop to keep them bars out of the drivers chest. The axle looks like 3/4".
My brother told me where a mini bike with the same engine as the trike is at for $10. He said it has a few missing pasts but is 90% there. I'm gonna check it out tomorrow . My projects are piling up. But my new welder is due any day as well as the rest of the engine parts for the frankindrift kart so that will be together soon. still need a seat and cvt. Though I might use a tension clutch. If you know about any video of one in action let me know.

I'll most likely make one. I want a bucket seat soI don't slide around. I could find one online but I can't test it for fit. Do you have one for sale?
