Man, the lemon juice cleaning method is awesome! Did mine today. I ended up boiling the parts, stirring every so often, for over half an hour. The water in the lemon juice does boil off quickly, so I had to add more every so often. After boiling I did a quick rinse under very hot water, immediately sprayed everything with brake cleaner, blew it dry, and then let it sit and air dry for a while. I then cleaned the threads on the intake side of my carburetor and added JB weld to build up the surface to later drill new threads.

If one of my Orings is stuck on the carb (the one underneath the primer plunger) is it going to kill it if I boil it in lemon juice?

Nyahh, not unless it's already shot - in which case it needs replacing anyways.

Have you tried a really fine wire to get the oring out?

Have you tried using a dental pick? Boiling in lemon juice may help to get it out. You're going to want to replace it either way. Carb rebuild kits are cheap on Ebay.

I did use a pick, yes but it seems like the oring is stuck and is going to tear; mayhaps I can scrape it off or something.

Use CRC or Permatex Gasket Remover, or I've heard that oven cleaner works too.

Careful with oven cleaner on aluminum or pot metal castings, it's pretty corrosive.
