I have always wondered why manufacturers make clutches that just hold on with a set screw!

Are you sure that you cannot use a key with your clutch to keep it stationary on the crank? Post a pic...

Buy a new spindle and replace the snapped one....

Buy a new spindle and replace the snapped one. Try Gopowersports or BMIkarts for spares

I wouls agree with this. Your jackshaft is just hanging out there with no support, an the flexing would then cause the chain to pop off.

I have circled the area in red.

Also.....your clutch...

If you are building from the ground up and you have no parts whatsoever.....then the kit might be an option for you. I would check the price of all the parts separately though and see if they aren't...

Can you not just weld a new one on if the existing doesn't fit the 212? The small block mounting holes are often the same between models. The 212 might fit
