So the connectors on my 3203 were shot so I decided to replace them. The manual calls for a 21" for the long side (26000209) and an 11" for the short side (02063). Problem is, the originals that came on the kart new measure 19-1/8" and 9". I have the new rods as tight in there as I can but the steering is still off, pushing the rod and spindle too close to the tire on one side. What should I do?

You've got a boatload of extra thread on those tierods at both ends of both tierods. Just cut some off from each end, leaving enough for you to make adjustments in/out for front end alignment.

That's another reason I was thinking they may be the wrong size. Could the manual actually be mistaken tho? I know the original ones are much shorter but I was trying to replace new since they had to come off anyway. Should I try to just put the old ones back on with the new connectors? If they sent me the wrong part I can just send them back and get the right ones. It's just weird that they sent exactly what the manual calls for and they don't fit well.

Madprofessor just told you how to fix your problem. Get a hacksaw and cut off the correct amount so that they work. They are manufactured on purpose with
2" of thread so that they can be cut to fit. Why would you want to return them?
do you not own a hacksaw or a cutoff wheel? The original ones may very well
have been cut to fit.

I also think the front tires may be a little too wide. I also would check the spindles for straightness.
I was thinking spindles too. Yerf dog is known for their "not so great" welding and since I already replaced one A-arm because it was bent, there's a good chance one or both the spindles could be off too. I really want to leave cutting the rods as a last resort because they literally just came in the mail. I'd rather replace all the old, possibly bent parts first and see how it fits first. Thanks a ton guys!

................forgot to pass this tip on..............Thread a nut all the way down the threads on the tierods you will end up cutting. After you buzz off a couple of inches with a cutoff wheel or Sawzall or hacksaw or whatever, unscrew the nut off of the tierod. The threads on the end will be "chased" by the nut coming off and clean up any raggedness you left. Things will start threading onto it easily after that.
