Made the extra kill switch more presentable and here is the tie rod arrangement I went with. Between these and adding the bushing to the bottom of the steering shaft it is super tight and smooth. So much so, that it revealed the steering wheel bolts needed to be snugged down, ha!

Sure looks good and sounds like it runs great. Really nice work !

Woah I can't believe it was over two weeks since this post. Busy schedule between little kids and plowing with the snow have kept us busy. The kart is basically waiting for warm days for me to lay down the floor stick on grip pad (from a skateboard) and a few decals near the engine. When we get a nice day I'll get some better ride along videos and some drive-by type videos. I did go around and tighten all the bolts so it's mostly ready to go. I just can't bring myself to give it a good first hard ripping through the snow; it would not be the best place for a maiden voyage breakdown, ha! Thanks for staying with me on this!

Save for some little tidying up here and there, I’m calling this done for now. Can’t wait for the ground to dry and harden up so I can get you guys some trail videos!

Got to take one of my best passengers on a little ride through the yard today. Found a few small kinks to iron out but overall this will be a great machine for the family.

Here is one more video for now. My brother in law loaned me a bunch of random Go-Pro stuff, and I'm going to see what I can make of it to try to take a few videos better than my phone can. I'll post when I get that up. I did end up tearing the torque converter completely apart (which I should have to begin with), replacing the driver bushing and the driven spring, and cleaned everything really good and lubricated the driver. It accelerates way smoother, yet I did not realize how notchy it was before! So it's been running great - all the kids who have been on it love it, same as the few adults who've tried driving it. Also for this arrangement, electric start has been stellar too.

I think the Carrol Stream engines are far overpriced. You can find something cheaper from almost anybody.
Some might be, but for one out of the box with the electric start I thought it was pretty good versus buying a predator on sale and adding electric start. Plus the pull start version was about the same as a regularly priced predator.

Fwiw, the color worked great with the stock 3203 😎
