Just use a washer or 2..... You don't want that to squeeze together though. If it did, you would have little to no movement.....

Got out to the garage for a little today, after the snow melted.
first i worked on a little project. i turned a cart i had for my old business into a kart stand. i don't like working on the floor
next step. prep for welding up the the crappy welds, and putting in the cross bar where the 5 point harness will mount.

what the cart looked like before i did anything to it.

spent an hour in the garage after work:thumbsup:. took off the side cover. found a nice little mouse nest. im starting to think till i get done with this rebuild, i could have built a custom cart cheaper.:ack2: but it's my daughter's and she bought it with her own money. so im in for the long hall on this one. :wai:
hopefully not to busy this weekend and can get it prepped for reweld, carb rebuilt, and new brakes.:2guns:

I have never worked with one, but more people say they are a pain in the a$$ than people who love them

As with anything, people are going go on about how crappy something is because a friend of a friend heard from this other guy who heard from....
:roflol:

I don't have much experience with Tecs, but I have 2 or 3 to rebuild someday...

I added a few coats of paint to the welds in the afternoon. but didn't get any pics after paint. I think i might rattle can the whole thing.it turned out better than i thought.
