I'm unsure how the wires were connected before, but they did not work when I got the Go Kart. If anyone has any information on how they are supposed to be connected, your help would be greatly appreciated. If I can't find how to connect them, I will end up hooking them up to a battery. This is a budget build, so I'm not trying to pay for any parts unless they are crucial to the thing driving.

The wires are supposed to be connected to the charging/lighting coils underneath the flywheel, simple as that.

If it is the original Robin engine (I do not assume it is) for the kart, it should have such a coil or coils (different styles exist) that was designed to power the lights and charge the battery if equipped with a battery. This is the best way instead of just using a separate battery just to power the lights. The engine powered lights will work as long as you have gasoline; if you run out of gas, then you'll have bigger problems that illumination.

Plenty of videos on YT but there's too many to wade through trying to find one that shows exactly how to hook them up in a way that a neophyte would understand.
