I have a AMW hornet 3170
I see 2 different part numbers listed. on the parts sheet

this caliper looks like many others i figured they would be readily available. but not sure which one and the cost is different from
gokartsrus.com no one has specs.
14658 LF OR SGL CALIPER 150CC, 250CC
115651 LF OR SGL BRAKE CALIPER

while searching for parts i started finding many parts off a mudhead
that work for my kart

Brake Kit for Mudhead/80T includes:
6.000.028 Rear Brake Caliper

Also, Used on American SportWorks Go-Kart models 3170(Dragonfly), 3171 (Black Widow), 4170 (Vector) and 5120 (Marauder)

so then i look up that caliper
but the 6.000.028 part number cross references to
American SportWorks part # 14143

calipers look the same as 14658
other parts are the same as the Mudhead 208R on the rear swing arm but not the caliper.
the disc rotor is the same so i would assume the fitment would be the same(i could be wrong)

Location
Ruhrpott [Germany]
just any..

the manco carbide series (as well as all other gy6 150cc manco karts
[later american sportworks now american landmaster])

Are chinese made (mostly by howhit)
and thus can vary in details..
but the good news is.. it does not matter much
both calipers fit and they even use the exact same pads..
for all I know the only difference indeed is the stocking number.
(and maybe.. just maybe... original manufacturer)

I'd pick the 115651 since it's usually the cheaper of the two
