I like drift trikes, particularly the Furze style ones. small, BMX front, short wheelbase, engine under the seat. I don't like the look of the long, sticky-out stationary foot pegs, or 2 feet of frame and engine behind the seat.
My problem is I just can't bring myself to dump the cash for a pitbike engine.
So I figure if you can sit on top of a 125 LIFAN, why can't you sit on a slant cylinder OHV? Only difference is it needs to stick out the back instead of the front.
Im still working out dimensions and stuff, but I should still be able to still get a reasonably compact frame in this configuration. Yes, the CG will be a bit high, but I plan on a rather wide axle to compensate. The engine is a Briggs 305 10hp.
And I've got the fattest tire that will fit in that fork on there... It clears, but not by much.
