The Brister's karts typically had a unique "D" or semicircular shape steering wheel made by Kelch Corporation. As far as I know only Brister's used this wheel exclusively while Manco or Sears-branded Manco karts like the Orange Krate used it for a while, then went to a completely round conventional looking wheel with 3 equally spaced spokes (like a Mercedes Benz logo).
The Manco/Sears/Brister's wheels all attached the same way, with a through-bolt.
