Recently took my custom kart to Land between the lakes Turkey Bay OHV park. I was fairly intimidated seeing as most of the pics I’ve seen were side by sides and jeeps, but when I arrived there was only 3 trailers in the lot and the place is huge. I was more or less alone on the trails.
The kart did awesome overall. But I ended up snagging a root going around a big puddle and it snapped the spindle off of the passenger side steering. Totally unexpected. But luckily the thing drove balanced on 3 wheels! Saved me a huge headache getting it out of their seeing as I was 1.5 miles from the parking lot.
I had 5/8 spindle from BMI karts for the 4x4 hubs. Now going to 3/4”
