I’m starting to build a Spidercarts Tarantula with 212cc Predator engine. Will a torque converter fit with the frame built as shown in the plans or will I need to make some modifications? I do not have a torque converter yet and can’t tell with the dimensions I have. Thanks for your help.

I haven't built one or ever looked at the plans, but judging from pictures it's either a tight fit, or there isn't the room. I would see what the plans say it has for clearance between the clutch and the swingarm then compare width of a comet 30 series and go from there. You may just need to widen the swingarm by an inch or so on both sides to make it work.

it should have clearance. in the plans it suggests using a tc I believe. my problem is fitting a gx270 with a tc. lol I think it will take some modification.
