I think you might be, or a geek. Anyone that understands electron philosophy as well as you qualifies!
Geek & nerd, are those positive (+) or negative (-) terms :lolgoku:

I don't have a pencil pouch :innocent:"if" that makes a difference
I put the buggy on the trailer to get some measurements.
I'd like to see it "in action"
...but, it seems like a kinda weird way to haul a "buggy"
It’s much more appropriate!
Um...hows that arm?
...it seems ta be gettin' quite a work out :devil2:

Positively positive. I respect anyone that can make some invisible force work such amazing stuff. I'm happy if I can make a LED blink!
The Weird way as you call it is cheap, easy and doesn't take up much room when not in use. I only haul one buggy around and putting it in the dump trailer seems more weird. The other thing is the grandkids parents can take the buggy anywhere/anytime the want, not borrow my pickup
and have a fun day with the brats and their brat friends. I can stay at home and scheme on my next project! The total investment in this weird trailer is $250!

The price could have easily doubled if I didn't have the steel laying in wait for a project. But due to my superior scrounging/hoarding skills this project came in only $250 over budget!
You too can be a cheap, scrounging, scrap pile diving, penny pinching hack like me. Stay tuned for more junkyard tips!

Um...that's mainly for my day job (I just use it for my stuff too)
...& they don't have electric tow trucks (just yet)
...but, it is an Intercooled Turbo Diesel (not a gasser) ;)

I'm not "that" young (or a nerd) :cornut:
but,
I'm tellin' ya, you'all ya needs to "test drive" a Tesla :innocent:
&
You won't regret it :devil2:

* My Hell-raiser kart is only running at 48V
...& can go from 0 to 35MPH in like 3 seconds (that's both accelerating & exhilarating) :2guns:

Um...T-Davidson, did you change your "name"?
...&/or when did you graduate up to "Master Hack"?
Why dont you make an electric tow truck?

Today on T-trailer we install the loading winch and slider rail.

The are 2 ways to load a t-trailer. One is to uncouple it from the tow vehicle and back the buggy on, then re connect to the tow rig. Since this buggy has no reverse, we are loading as would be done on a flat bed.
The difference is with the short deck there is no support for the front end. This is where the slider rail comes in. The rail also keeps the front wheels up so they don’t make earth contact at every dip in the road or driveway apron. The under belly of the buggy has a piece of UHMW that slides on the rail.
Cuz l don’t want the kids to throttle on past the trailer and through the tailgate into the pickup bed, we will opt for winch loading.
Once the front wheels loose contact with the deck there is no steering!
That could be a problem if the buggy was just driven on but, Fear not, it follows the winch cable.

The conclusion will be anti climatic, sorry. I had to get this thing done in order to make room for the next project. Sadly l didn’t have time to take pics. The fenders are on and the ramps are finihed. Now just waiting for paint. That won’t be happening until warm weather returns. Here are the pics l have, you’ll need to use your imagination. At some point l’ll drag it out of the corner its pushed into and record an action video.
