Spindle - Lower Ball Joint Popped Out - How to Fix?

Hi, I bought my son a Coleman 196 2-seater. They were letting a cousin ride the kart and he flipped it (he's ok). What's not OK is the left side spindle assembly. The ball joint on bottom has popped out. When I try to get it back into the assembly, it falls out. I was wondering if this was something that can be put back in, or do I need to buy a new left side assembly. Thanks!

New assembly. Dislocated ball joints of any mechanical kind just aren't something you can safely pop back in
