So I know this site is all karts, but I’m sure you guys appreciate other cool stuff as well. This was my last project. Found the same DT400 my uncle had when I was a kid and spent 1000s and almost 3 years restoring it. I don’t know if I have it in me to do this kart the same way. So wall hanger or eBay it is.

That kart is nice enough to just clean up, replace engine with a LKQ one and shine up. Then make it a wall hanger!
I’m more of a Honda man but my mentor and neighbor when I was a kid had one of those brand new. I thought it was a sharp bike. Rode it once and it was quick, I loved it. Wish I had that one! Beautiful work!

Love a Yamaha 400 enduro! It was my 6th bike back around 1985....? Rode it like a dirt racer with a death wish and no fear. Paid for it when I snapped the frame and broke the crankcase through the gearshift. Was eventually stolen off of my front porch. Loved it nonstop.

I’m actually in Canada as well. Just outside Toronto. I don’t know any other way to restore something other than factory original. I’m starting to think this is not going to be as easy as I thought. Since I don’t have a sentimental attachment to this ( as I usually do with most of my projects) I don’t have a problem putting this on eBay. I’m sure the right person will end up with it. Only problem is shipping.
Pm me Thomas. I’m in Ontario. About 3 hours north of you.
