Like I said, I haven't messed around with tillotson carbs and have no idea. All I know is that some are adjustable. Maybe try on the vintage sled forums

I found out mine is a adjustable Tillotson carburetor, so all I will have to do is adjust the high and low speed fuel mixture settings

What flavor soda???? ....and how long do you shake the can?????:lolgoku:

That's about the only way I could do it..

Its best to use washing soda and if you can find it in a can. You can shake it you all want. Some where around here I have instructions on how to make a soda blasting outfit on the cheap. If I can find it I will post it. Of course you have a air compressor.

For now until I can find a soda blaster I'm trying engine degreaser and let it sit a while then hit it with some really fine grit sandpaper to get the carbon that was left

:wai: We have plenty of Amish around here, so washing soda is ready available. If you can not find washing soda, use baking soda. Still looking for the soda blaster instructions. One thing about either, they are biodegradable and non-toxic.
