Predator 420cc reverse

I just did a swap on a 90 ezgo and only have forward. I don't know if I should get the reverse kit, or if the starter generator that hooks up to the shifter will work like it does on the stock engine.

The reverse kit will probably not hold up to the weight of the kart. You could try to mount the Starter/Generator to the rear axle driven. This way it won’t be cranking the engine in reverse rotation trying to flood it. I was an EZ-Go dealer from 1994-2006.
