Predator 212 governing speed

I have been wondering about this for a while now and I am hoping that someone who has a tach on a predator knows what the true top speed of a HF 212 is. I have seen people on this forum say that it's governed to 3600 rpm, however the factory advertises it is governed to 3800 rpm.

If anyone can, for sure, state the exact max rpm I would greatly appreciate it.

Don't need a tach if you can get a good clear audio recording of the exhaust without distortion.

I do believe my hemi predator was running at 3800 out of the box when i was initially breaking it in.

Stock out of the box Non-Hemi 212. You can see where the governor kicks in.

Make sure you back the throttle stop screw out, they have them turned in far enough to kill a noticeable amount of power.

Thanks for the dyno graph. And you're right. That limiter screw decreases power significantly.
