through Nextdoor.com I found a 90 year old neighbor who wanted help getting his 1985 Honda 200 running, he said the carburetor is leaking

I went over and said I'd fix it for beers, very nice guy, super clear for a man of his age

the air filter was falling apart and he needs a new head light lens too, can you tell me where to buy a rebuild kit for this carb?

oh how freakin cool, he has 3 of these owls that live in his barn

can you identify the model number?

But it'll be cheaper to find a replacement carb for now..
On ebay Keihin rebuild kits for ATC 200 are usually around 25 bucks..
a clone carb around 17.

Yes you should still rebuild the Keihin IMHO, but with the part number and knowing what
actually needs to be replaced you might be able to find a cheaper kit (say w/o floats or w/o jets.. or such)

Looks like a pz26? hard to tell...

Anywhoo
carb:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Carb-C...C-200-S-ATC-200S-1984-1985-1986-/161633949190

likely the correct kit (please check for a model number first!)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-QUALIT...t-Carb-200-X-/351531042796?fits=Model:ATC200X

or
https://www.ebay.com/itm/MOOSE-RACI...M-ATC200M-200-/232021573899?fits=Model:ATC200

[hoping the 200M and the 200S share the carb ;)]

[EDIT]
https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/1984-honda-atc200s/o/m1894#sch11214

many parts incl the headlight assembly (85 bucks though)
and all you need to rebuild the carb ;)

yeah with the floats it's expensive...
bike bandits sells the individual parts (just gaskets, just jets, just float)
that's more reasonable if you don't need everything.

The Keihin should be rebuild eventually... just saying ;)
