... well, not back. She's been around for 4 years & 3 months roughly... but I thought I'd swing by & say hi again to y'all seeing I've been absent for a bit.

Anyhoo, sarge is alive & well, run often.

And... evidently, she has a sister.

The cyclekart... Sargette.

Decoration.

Also the cooling fan intake, by the looks of it.

Correct, and correct.

Lots of decorations at times. It's just pvc pipe.

And Sid, when I get sargette to the running stages (actually driving), sure. Video will come. The wheels will do fine. Hundreds of other cyclekarts out there running the same ones.

Yep.

Say, Sargette might make a cool smoker!

Is that huge scoop thing the air intake on Sarge?

and... correct.

A smoker?

Her body (the front part) is a canoe... it'd melt. LOL

Got to love olive drab, it's almost as good looming as flat black (aka black primer). Sargette kind of reminds me of the early 20th Century race cars aesthetically, where as Sarge has the Kaiser M715/Willys Jeep look. Though looks like Sargette has about 2/3 of a Browning M1919 on the side.

LOL! I've gone over this a hundred times... but, here it is again.

Sarge had a stance that was built to resemble a rather famous racing go kart... the evans SPL. In it's day, it was the fastest thing around and was one of the first (not THE first) to encorporate a front end geometry that is still in use today by modern race karts.

Anyway, look at any old race kart and look how they sat... it's like that fellers.

You hit it on the nose my friend. Sargette is a cyclekart, and cyclekarts are typically built with an early 1900's race car look. In fact, the rules in the cyclekart world specify that you "should" have an inspiration car that yours is based on. Most do.

Sargette's inspiration (loosely) was the GN Jap. I can see where the Browning M1919 comes in... that big ole gun... LOL.

I couldn't (and didn't want to) recreate the actual car because of its sheer coolness. (that'd be like slapping a "HOONIGAN" Sticker on, oh... anything? Sorry, if you got a hoonigan sticker on anything, you'd better be named Ken Block or go home... no other car... or person... is man enough to bear the name.)

... and it'd be cliche'... so I built something that's all mine... but got the point across.
