I have a 15 year old Tecumseh ohh50 on an older yerf dog 1203a and it runs and looks like brand new, but at mid throttle I hear a light ticking almost like a knock but it idles perfectly, and is fine at full throttle, which I find weird, can anyone try to help me find out what this is from, it is almost like lifter clatter but I have no idea and the oil is fresh and up to full, I am stumped  but any help is appreciated, thanks in advance

I can tell you substituting bubble solution and sand for motor oil does not help a knock.
And it did not blow bubbles like I hoped. This applies to the ohh60 , your mileage may vary.

If it runs just send it
