I just got my first kart and I'm looking for rear tires. The kart I have is an older Murray (the one with the steering wheel on the right side). They are 15x6.00-6 tires. The issue I'm having is figuring out if the tires I'm buying online are tubed tires or tubeless tires. Is there a way to tell which is which?

Most of the bigger tires are going to be tubeless tires. Most in that size are--I've looked for tube-type in that size before, no dice.

The ones that do specify a tube usually say so on the tire sidewall; typically "TUBE TYPE".

If you have split rims, you're going to need a tube. No getting around that.

You're a mysterious fella. Left us hanging with little info. 😄

What kind of tires do you need? You know you can use inner tubes in tubeless tires if you need to....

I didn't know that. But on my hunt for tires locally I did find tubed 15x6.00 tires with a wheel at Tractor Supply. I had no idea go kart tires were going to take up days of my life but I love it. I'm going to try and use a Carlisle Turf Saver.
