I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this engine and what wires this is coming from the engine, as they don't have it connected to anything. I'm trying to identify what the bundle of 3 wires goes to in the top rear of the case. Looks like a green/brown, green/white, and black/white(maybe? Hard to tell). The green/white is snipped further down the line and isn't connected to anything. 😑 Any help would be greatly appreciated! The sticker on the motor is faded and missing sections, so I couldn't identify a model numder for the engine. I apologize!

That makes it a Carter Kart. The company and all replacement parts burned up in a fire years ago. Along with wiring diagrams and help.

Wow. That's a mess.

Take some further away pics.

I looked up Carter karts water cooled engines. Didn't get much.

I'm gonna guess the 3 wires from the rear case, I think is the transmission, could be a neutral and reverse safety light and or switch. Are there indicator bulbs on the dash?

You can get a generic type kart/ buggy wiring diagram and try to follow it. Wire colors should be similar.

A note pad and a multi meter help tremendously.

It's a Maxxam 150 2R frame that had a Carter 250 Interceptor motor swapped onto it. They did a horrible job wiring this thing up. I found out that it's the gear indicator wire. Thank you so much!
