Need 3/4” bore keyed wheels

I’ve got an old Manco Bandit II and I want to put larger wheels to get more clearance so my kids can ride around in fields.

5/8” bore needed with a keyed hub (post edited: i really need 5/8 but can’t figure out how to change thread title). I’d like something in the 13” diameter range and not to exceed 6.5” wide. And not more than $50/wheel.

This has proved to be like finding a unicorn so far.

Any help appreciated. Pics attached.

As for the 13 inch rims, I don't think there are any(besides car wheels).

However, BMIKarts sells a customizable tire assembly, and you can get up to a 22 inch tire on an 8 inch rim. That would be plenty of ground clearance for off roading, but you would need to gear down significantly to compensate.

Thanks! Sorry; I mean 13” overall. I’ve been a wood worker so the engine, frame, etc world has had learning curves. This kart sat for many years so I feel like a champ for getting it running like new but these 5/8” keyed hub wheels seem incredibly hard to find

Congrats on getting it running! It sure does feel good to get an old kart running!
Are you totally sure it's 5/8"? Make sure to take the wheel off and measure the axle.

I took the wheel off and measured with a caliper: dead on 5/8”

You might have better luck getting some 3/4" keyed wheels and using a shaft sleeve adapter, either solid with integral keys or slotted with an oversized key.

You can find those adapters all over the place for quite cheap. 5/8" to 1" are a bit harder to come by.

13" wheels are an odd ball. You'll have better luck looking for 12". Far as 3/4" keyed wheels, 8" or 10" wheels from a lawn tractor will be your best bet. Tractors from the MTD banner (Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Lawn Boy) should have it. 3/4" axles may not hold up that well like a 1" axle will. Plus with 1" you can more easily get 4on4 common bolt pattern hubs, which will open up more opportunity for wheel sizes.

13" wheels are not too odd; rims yes,
wheels (i.e tyre diameter) 13" is quite common actually.

13x5.00-6 for example is a common mower size
13" tyre/wheel diameter, 5" wide, 6" rim diameter

That's backwards for me since I'm in the auto world. Wheel=Rim in my world. So that's where my confusion is coming in at.
